| The Federal Register now has the final ruling available online for those looking to comply with HIPAA security regulations. The part most people in the healthcare industry will care about is that the timeline for compliance April 21, 2005 is far enough in the future that there is little reason compliance should be an issue. Small Healthcare Plans have an extra year to become compliant, April 21, 2006. |
